Noerr advises the Companies of Schwarz Group on investment in IQM Quantum Computers

A Noerr team led by Maurice Séché has advised the companies of Schwarz Group on a series B funding round and its first investment in IQM Quantum Computers. IQM is one of the global market leaders in the field of superconducting quantum computers.

During the funding round, IQM will be provided with a total of 320 million US dollars (275 million euros) by various investors. Apart from companies in the Schwarz Group, the investors Tesi, Elo Mutual Pension Insurance, Varma Mutual Pension Insurance, Winbond Electronics Corporation as well as the European Innovation Council and Bayern Kapital took part in the funding round, which was headed by US investment company Ten Eleven Ventures. The capital is to be used to develop IQM’s technical infrastructure and is intended to accelerate the company’s growth.
