Noerr advises Exus Renewables on the acquisition of a 69 MW wind portfolio from Deutsche WindXperts
A Noerr team led by Christoph Spiering and Vanessa Hoffmann Linhard has advised Exus Renewables, a leading global energy solutions provider, on the acquisition of a 69 MW wind portfolio from Deutsche WindXperts (DWXP). The portfolio comprises four wind farms under development in North Rhine-Westphalia. The acquisition is Exus’ first owned wind project in Germany, following several years delivering third-party asset management services.
The portfolio, which has the potential for capacity expansion, represents a strategically significant step for Exus as it continues to grow its presence and asset base across key European renewable energy markets, broadening exposure to core jurisdictions with long-term decarbonisation commitments. Construction is scheduled to commence in 2026, with commercial operation being anticipated in 2028.
