Noerr advises BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund on investment in OroraTech
A team from our firm headed by Felix Blobel has advised the BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund on an investment in OroraTech GmbH in connection with the second closing of its Series B financing round. The Munich-based start-up is the world’s leading provider of satellite-powered systems for predicting forest fires, which detect fires of all sizes day and night. Established in 2018 and headquartered in Munich, OroraTech has branches in the USA, Australia, Brazil, Canada and Greece.
The second closing of the financing round, which was increased to 37 million euros, was led by BNP Paribas Solar Impulse Venture Fund and also backed by Rabo Ventures and long-standing investors Bayern Kapital, Edaphon and the European Circular Bioeconomy Fund (ECBF).
