Noerr advises the Companies of Schwarz Group on an investment in Romanian hypercash company La Cocos

A Noerr team led by Susanne Rummel and Gerald Reger has advised the Companies of Schwarz Group on the intended acquisition of a majority stake in the Romanian company La Cocos which operates hypercash stores. The completion of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals.

The hypercash business model of La Cocos has proven very successful in Romania. It is characterized by large sales areas and a limited range of products. It also features differentiated pricing based on the quantity purchased and stands out through a simple product presentation. The companies of Schwarz Group intend to further develop the model within Romania together with current management.
