Noerr advises Sudarshan on the sale of VP4 to Celanese

A Noerr team led by Till Kosche, Maurice Séché and Jannik Duttlinger has advised listed Sudarshan Chemical Industries Limited (“Sudarshan”) on the sale of its step down subsidiary VP4 Frankfurt GmbH ("VP4") to US Celanese Corporation, further sharpening the company’s focus on its core pigments business.

VP4 Frankfurt is engaged in the manufacture of certain intermediates, primarily as a tolling operator for Nutrinova, an affiliate of Celanese Corporation and Mitsui & Co. Japan. VP4 Frankfurt became part of Sudarshan through its acquisition of Heubach Chemicals and was earmarked for divestment. By exiting VP4, Sudarshan is strengthening its strategic focus and operational position.

With a team led by Till Kosche and Maurice Séché, Noerr had previously advised Sudarshan on the acquisition of the Heubach Group.
