Noerr provides ATMIRA Group with comprehensive advice on project development and funding for one of Europe’s largest logistics centres
A Noerr team led by Annette Pospich advised ATMIRA Group on project development and funding for the construction of the logistics hub with 265,000m² of total leased floor space in the International Logistics Centre in Erfurt.
The logistics centre is to be built with a focus on sustainability. Among other features, the building will have a green roof to retain water and solar panels to locally generate a large proportion of the electricity for operations and will be DGNB Gold Standard-certified. The property, set to be one of the largest and most modern robotic logistics hubs in Europe, is fully let on long-term leases.
Noerr’s advice on property law covered the whole range of project development issues including aspects of tenancy law. The legally complex funding structure combined senior and mezzanine financing, with the equity structure adapted accordingly.
