The tax advisor Elmar Bindl and the lawyer Sebastian Leidel are joining Noerr’s Munich office from Linklaters on 1 March as an associated partner and a senior associate respectively.

Elmar Bindl focuses on fund structuring and fund investments, corporate tax law and tax-related transaction advice. He advises institutional investors, fund initiators, DAX companies, family offices and family-managed companies. “With his experience and expertise, Elmar Bindl will in particular work closely with our practice groups Private Equity, Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions and the Real Estate Investment Group,” emphasises Georg Edelmann, co-head of Noerr’s tax department.

“We are very pleased that Elmar Bindl and Sebastian Leidel, two experienced tax law experts, have joined Noerr. With these new additions we are continuing to grow our tax practice and expand our advice on high-quality and large-scale transactions,” says Carsten Heinz, tax co-head.

At Noerr, Elmar Bindl will again be joining forces with Martin Haisch and Holger Ebersberger, whom he already worked closely with at Linklaters. Tax and investment law expert Martin Haisch and private equity lawyer Holger Ebersberger came to Noerr in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

With its 40+ members, Noerr’s Tax & Private Clients practice advises on nearly all national and international tax issues. The portfolio ranges from tax structuring advice for M&A transactions, fund structuring and investments, corporate reorganisations and succession issues to tax compliance and court and out-of-court enforcement advice.
