Noerr’s Hamburg office is continuing its expansion. Dr Felix Muhl joined the new office as an Associated Partner on 1 November. The specialist in distribution law in the automobile and consumer goods industries joins Noerr from CMS Hasche Sigle, where he was Counsel.

Felix Muhl brings the number of advisors at Noerr’s Hamburg office to about 20, including six partners and two associated partners. “The expansion of our new office is proceeding as planned,” says Dr Christoph Spiering, joint head of the Hamburg office. “In Hamburg, commerce and distribution traditionally play an important role. We are pleased to number Hamburg among our offices where we can offer our clients this kind of advice.”

“Felix Muhl is a recognized distribution law expert whose extensive practical experience adds to our expertise as the market leader in this field,” says Dr Karl Rauser, head of the Commerce & Trade practice group. In Hamburg, Felix Muhl will work primarily with Karsten Metzlaff as well as the experts in the practice group Automotive & New Mobility. Along with Felix Muhl, Michaela Sokolowski, who is a Senior Associate with an emphasis on distribution law, has also moved to Noerr in Hamburg.

“I am looking forward to working with my new colleagues at Noerr”, says Felix Muhl. “The law firm is the top choice for distribution law and especially for advising and representing automobile manufacturers and clients in the consumer goods industry.” In the automotive sector, Felix Muhl advises and represents clients in all aspects of distribution law, particularly in setting up and enforcing distribution systems as well as in warranty claims and the insolvency of a contracting party.

Noerr opened its new office in Hamburg in April of this year. Along with the joint office heads Dr Christoph Spiering (Corporate/M&A) and Dr Volker Land (Corporate M&A and Capital Markets), the original Hamburg-based partners include Professor Kai-Michael Hingst (Banking and Financial Regulation, Financing), Professor Karsten Metzlaff (Antitrust and Distribution), Björn Paulsen (Corporate/M&A and Real Estate Investments), Dr Stephan Schulz (Capital Markets) and Dr Matthias Stupp (Litigation).
