Noerr advises broadband equipment company BTV on strategic takeover

Noerr has advised BTV Multimedia GmbH on the acquisition of a majority share in ANEDIS GmbH. Headquartered in Berlin, ANEDIS is a specialist in active and passive components as well as measuring equipment for broadband communications.

BTV Multimedia, a portfolio company of the DBAG Expansion Capital Fund, which is advised by private equity company Deutsche Beteiligungs AG bundles the activities of well-known service providers, distributors and manufacturers in the broadband communications sector, which also includes braun teleCom. The individual companies have set the objective to increase their strengths that they are known for in the market in their field of technology and to place the customer at the heart of their business in the future as well.

Noerr advised BTV with a team led by Holger H. Ebersberger. The Munich-based private-equity partner had previously provided legal advice to the DBAG Expansion Capital fund on its investments in the BTV Group.

On the side of DBAG, head of the legal department Florian Döring, was in charge of the transaction.
