Noerr advises BTV Multimedia on takeover of DKT A/S

Noerr has advised BTV Multimedia on a further strategic takeover. The supplier and service provider in the broadband communication industry, Hanover-based BTV, is acquiring the Danish company DKT A/S and its subsidiaries in Germany, Sweden and Hong Kong.

With this takeover, BTV Multimedia is consistently continuing its strong growth. Danish broadband specialist DKT A/S marks BTV’s most recent addition, following the takeover of Berlin-headquartered ANEDIS GmbH and of Hanover-based braun teleCom GmbH. Bundling the operations of well-established service providers, distributors and manufacturers in broadband communication, BTV Multimedia is one of the industry’s few full-service providers. BTV’s expansion strategy is aimed at creating an industry partner for cable network operators that is able to offer a strong product mix and profound expertise.

BTV Multimedia is a portfolio company of the DBAG Expansion Capital Fund advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG.

Noerr’s Munich partner and private equity specialist Holger H. Ebersberger and his team already provided legal advice to the DBAG Expansion Capital Fund on its investment in BTV Multimedia and to BTV Multimedia on its takeover of ANEDIS. The successful cooperation has now been continued with the acquisition of DKT.
