Noerr advises Danish electronics manufacturer GPV on takeover of CCS Group
Noerr has advised the Danish electronics manufacturer GPV International on the acquisition of the Swiss CCS Group. The seller is the Fund ZM Opportunity II LP which is advised by Patrimonium Private Equity. The deal is worth around DKK 800 million (approximately € 107 million).
Both companies are active in the field of electronic manufacturing services (EMS) with a focus on electronics, mechatronics, precision mechanics and cable harnesses. The merger creates a global EMS provider with around 3,700 employees and production sites in Asia, Europe and America.
Noerr advised on the transaction together with the Danish law firm Gorrissen Federspiel and advised GPV on the German and Slovak aspects of the transaction. The lead partners were Tibor Fedke and Robert Korndörfer.
The antitrust authorities still have to approve the transaction.
