Noerr advises Deutsche Beteiligungs AG on sale of stake in BTV Multimedia

A Noerr team headed by Holger H. Ebersberger and Florian Sippel has advised DBAG ECF III, a fund managed by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG (DBAG), on the sale of its stake in BTV Multimedia to ETC Group, a strategic buyer headquartered in France.

With its investment in BTV Multimedia, a broadband equipment and services provider, DBAG ECF III had successfully ensured succession in the family-owned company.

By selling its stake in BTV Multimedia, DBAG ECF III has managed to complete the first disposal of a management buyout from its fund portfolio.

Noerr previously assisted DBAG ECF III with its investment in BTV Multimedia.

Closing of the transaction is subject to clearance by the authorities.

At DBAG, Matthias Döll and Carolin Keferstein were in charge of the legal aspects of the transaction.
