Noerr advises EMERAM on sale of Officium Group to Arcus Infrastructure

A Noerr-team led by Munich-based private equity partner Christoph Thiermann has assisted funds advised by EMERAM Capital Partners (“EMERAM”) on the sale of their portfolio company Officium to investor Arcus Infrastructure Partners.

With EMERAM’s support Officium has succeeded in building one of the leading independent metering and energy service providers for the housing industry in Germany within two years. By pursuing a consistent buy-and-build strategy advised on by Noerr and developing innovative digital offerings, Officium has been able to steadily expand its market position in a highly fragmented market.

EMERAM is one of the leading investment managers for medium-sized companies in German-speaking countries. Funds advised by EMERAM provide more than 500 million euros of capital for the development of growing companies. The portfolio includes companies from the technology/software, value-added services and new consumer staples sectors .
