Noerr advises MCP and SKINATIVE on partnership with cosmetics group Klapp

Noerr has advised MCP on its partnership with the Klapp group, a specialist in cosmetics products. MCP, a private equity fund with offices in Milan and Frankfurt, is specialized in supporting medium-sized companies in their growth plans.

The Klapp Group has more than 200 employees in Germany selling its products in over 60 countries. The group is actively pursuing further expansion, especially in Asia and the USA. Its customers include more than 35,000 beauty salons and hotels as well as large retailers. The Founder and previous owner will join the newly founded advisory board.

The Closing of the transactiontook place at the beginning of May.

With this transaction, Noerr has been responsible for the first successful MCP partnership in Germany. Previously, teams headed by Georg Schneider (co-head of the Noerr Private Equity practice) advised MCP on various add-on transactions.
