Noerr advises Truck-Lite on the sale of FER to the Chinese Boao group

Noerr has advised the US group Truck-Lite on the sale of its German company FER to the Chinese Boao group.

FER, Eisenach, is a leading Tier I / Tier II supplier of interior and exterior lighting products for light vehicles. The company primarily serves leading European OEMs and has over 400 employees. FER now trades under the name Rebo Lighting & Electronics.

Truck-Lite is headquarterd in Falconer, New York, and operates manufacturing facilities in the US, England and Mexico. It is a major producer of safety lighting, forward lighting, wiring harnesses, mirrors, turn signal switches and safety accessories to the commercial vehicle industries. Boao, based in Chongqing, China, is a leading supplier of LED lighting systems, electronic sensors, printed circuit boards, and controllers to automotive original equipment manufacturers.
