Noerr supports sale of insolvent DRK Kliniken Nordhessen

TEAM Treuhand GmbH, part of the Noerr Group, has acquired a controlling interest in the hospital company DRK Kliniken Nordhessen gGmbH out of its preliminary insolvency proceedings as a interim trustee. This enabled the refinancing necessary to withdraw the insolvency application and averted final insolvency proceedings over the assets of the hospitals, which are located in Kassel.

After merger clearance, the hospitals are to be taken over by Helios Kliniken GmbH. DRK Kliniken Nordhessen had been in preliminary insolvency proceedings since filing for insolvency in June. The hospitals employ over 1,000 of staff members in two locations, Kassel-Wehlheiden and Kaufungen.  

TEAM Treuhand is a company for turnaround trusteeships and is represented by its managing director, the Noerr partner and restructuring expert Thomas Hoffmann.
