Noerr advises 360X Art AG on partnership with Weng Fine Art AG, Rüdiger K. Weng and Johann König
Noerr has, with Holger H. Ebersberger and Georg Langheld, advised 360X Art AG on the agreement of a strategic partnership with Weng Fine Art AG (WFA), Rüdiger K. Weng and Johann König. WFA, Weng and König will take a stake of more than 20 per cent in 360X Art AG, the art tokenisation platform of 360X AG.
Founded in the spring, 360X AG – main shareholders are Deutsche Börse and Commerzbank – develops new digital marketplaces and ecosystems for existing real assets such as art and real estate on a blockchain basis. With the gallery owner Johann König, the art and financial markets expert Rüdiger K. Weng as well as Weng Fine Art AG as the only listed art trading company in Europa, 360X Art is gaining important partners and investors to develop into a leading platform for the tokenisation and fractionalisation of artworks by renowned and emerging artists.
The Noerr team provided comprehensive advice on the transaction. Noerr had already advised Deutsche Börse on the agreement of the strategic partnership with Commerzbank and the investment in 360X AG.
