Noerr advises Summit Partners on investment in TIC Group CERTANIA

31.08.2023

A Noerr team led by Natalie Daghles and David Funken has advised US investment company Summit Partners on its investment in the CERTANIA Group.

The CERTANIA Group, which provides testing, inspection and certification services, is focussed on addressing global challenges related to health and sustainability. The Group combines 16 leading companies, which together offer an extensive portfolio of services in the TIC sector.

Summit Partners is providing growth capital that will further support CERTANIA’s acquisition strategy and help position the Group as a leading TIC provider in Europe and beyond.

Closing of the transaction is subject to clearance by the authorities and is expected to take place during the last quarter of 2023.

Founded in Boston in 1984, alternative investment firm Summit Partners manages over $37 billion. Summit has invested in technology, healthcare and other growth industries in more than 550 companies worldwide and has offices in North America and Europe.

Noerr regularly advises Summit and did so most recently on IK Partners' investment in the independent wealth management platform Cinerius Financial Partners.
