Noerr advises Gold Tree Group on Acquisition of Atlantic Haus from Nuveen

22.08.2025

A Noerr team led by Annette Pospich has advised the Gold Tree Group on acquiring the Atlantic Haus in Hamburg from Nuveen. This is the company's largest single purchase on the German market to date.

Completed in 2007, the high-rise building with its striking façade is one of the architectural landmarks of the St. Pauli district. Its proximity to the Reeperbahn, the Elbe and cultural institutions makes the location particularly attractive for tenants, whether start-ups or large corporations. With this transaction, the Gold Tree Group is continuing its investment strategy in Germany's strongest economic regions.

Gold Tree primarily invests in office, retail and mixed-use properties in Germany and Switzerland. The international investment company regularly relies on legal advice from Noerr and teams led by Annette Pospich, head of the firm's Real Estate Investment Group, mostly recently on the acquisitions of the “Atricom” office building in Frankfurt and the acquisition of the “Oval Office” in Hamburg.
