Noerr advises FRAMOS on establishing new joint venture with Japanese company Restar

A Noerr team led by Carmen Böhn and Georg Schneider has advised FRAMOS, a developer and distributor of imaging systems, on the strategic development of a joint venture with Japan’s Restar Corporation. As part of this transaction, RESTAR FRAMOS Technologies (formerly ViMOS Technologies) took over the distribution of SONY image sensors and displays in Europe, the Middle East and North America as of October.

Restar is a long-standing partner of Munich-based FRAMOS. The strategic realignment of the joint venture will allow FRAMOS to focus more intensively on developing imaging products and customised image processing solutions.
