Noerr advises ABO Energy on additional syndicated credit facility

A team from Noerr headed by Alexander Schilling has advised ABO Energy on entering into a syndicated credit facility arranged by IKB Deutsche Industriebank AG with a total commitment of approximately €74 million.

One of the main components is a €45 million credit tranche qualifying for the Climate Protection Offensive for Companies programme set up by the German development bank KfW, which is made available to finance substations. The syndicated credit agreement provides for an increase option which secures the funding for future projects. In addition, bilateral loans were incorporated into the syndicated credit agreement.

Noerr advises ABO Energy on a regular basis. A team headed by Alexander Schilling recently advised the company on entering into a €240 million syndicated credit facilities agreement. Last year, a team led by Julian Schulze la Cruz helped ABO Energy successfully issue a €80 million green bond.
