Noerr has reorganised its Litigation department and as of now is offering its clients even more customised services for resolving conflicts. The new market presence underlines the firm’s leading role in the field of litigation.

Up to now, more than 100 lawyers worked in the Litigation, Arbitration & ADR practice group headed by Anke Meier and Oliver Sieg. The new advisory portfolio comprises the following new practice groups:

Anke Meier and Oliver Sieg will continue to be jointly responsible for the entire Litigation department, which will include the four new practice groups, along with  the practice groups Compliance & Internal Investigations, which is headed up by Torsten Fett and Sophia Habbe, and Intellectual Property, headed by Tobias Dolde.

“With this enhanced organisational set-up we will be able to address existing market topics and new subjects even better and take into account our clients’ needs for clear specialisations,” said Anke Meier. “The strong growth of our previous practice group has made it necessary to adapt the management structures as well,” explained Oliver Sieg. The new practice groups will be headed by specialist partners who are among the leading experts in their fields.

Noerr has seen a marked increase in its work representing companies and banks in litigation and arbitration proceedings over the last few years. It has one of the largest litigation teams in Europe, to which more than 160 lawyers specialising in contentious proceedings belong. The firm frequently acts as the international lead counsel, coordinating cases across numerous countries and jurisdictions.
