Noerr advises Bauer Media Group on media M&A transaction

Noerr has advised the Bauer Media Group on the acquisition of the Madame magazine. The seller is Media Group Medweth.

With its acquisition of Madame, the Hamburg-based publishing house is taking over one of Germany’s best-known women’s magazines. The premium magazine appears monthly in print and as an e-paper.

With a team headed by Volker Land, Noerr advised the Bauer Media Group on the takeover. The media group has already in the past relied on Volker Land (co-head of Noerr’s Hamburg office) with respect to M&A transactions.
