Noerr strengthens M&A advice and stock corporate and capital markets law with Dr. Falk Osterloh
The law firm Noerr continues to expand its Corporate Department. Dr. Falk Osterloh joined Noerr’s Düsseldorf office as Associated Partner on 1 September. He was with Oppenhoff & Partner in Cologne for almost seven years, most recently as Junior Partner.
Osterloh specialises in legal support of companies and financial investors in national and cross-border M&A transactions and restructuring. He also advises listed companies on stock corporate law and its interface to capital markets law. In that area, Osterloh advised in recent years particularly on compliance questions in capital markets law and on public takeovers. “Noerr has grown impressively in recent years not least thanks to its excellent corporate track record. Together with my new colleagues, I look forward to being part of this success story“ commented Osterloh on his move.
“We are delighted to continue to strengthen our corporate capacity in Düsseldorf with Falk Osterloh and advance on the growth path of our law firm in strategic areas“ said Prof. Dr. Christian Pleister, Co-head of Noerr’s Corporate Department and of the Practice Group Corporate/M&A which he heads together with Dr. Alexander Hirsch. Hirsch emphasises: “Falk Osterloh’s M&A expertise and his great practical experience in corporate and capital markets law complement each other ideally – particularly his transaction experience in capital market law.“
In the Corporate Department headed jointly by Prof. Dr. Christian Pleister (Frankfurt/Berlin) and Dr. Gerald Reger (Munich), Noerr has more than 180 lawyers throughout Europe. National and cross-border transactions, their financing, structuring issues in demanding corporate and group law and in corporate reorganisation and restructuring are the core areas.
