Noerr advises Air Alliance Group on the sale of Air Alliance GmbH to Pilatus
Noerr, led by Georg Schneider and Hans Kenschke, provided comprehensive advice to the Air Alliance Group, owned by DPE Deutsche Private Equity, on the sale of Air Alliance GmbH to the Swiss company Pilatus Flugzeugwerke AG.
As part of the transaction, Deutsche Private Equity is splitting its stake in the Air Alliance Group into two independent entities. The former subsidiary Unicair GmbH, one of Europe’s leading air ambulance providers, will continue as an independent company within the DPE portfolio and will have a free hand to carry out a comprehensive fleet renewal.
Air Alliance GmbH, founded in 1993 and headquartered in Burbach with a base at Siegerland Airport, specialises in the sale of aircraft, maintenance services and the operation of a flight school. Under the terms of the agreement, all teams, locations and services will be retained, thereby ensuring operational stability.
Founded in 2007, Deutsche Private Equity is an independent investment firm based in Munich that invests in high-growth medium-sized companies in German-speaking countries.
The completion of the transaction is subject, among other things, to customary regulatory approvals and the consent of the German Federal Aviation Authority.
