Noerr advises CDC Investissement Immobilier on acquisition of logistics property in Hamburg

A team from Noerr led by Tim Behrens and Manuel Lomb has advised French real estate company CDC Investissement Immobilier on the acquisition of a logistics property in the Billbrook district of Hamburg administered by real estate manager AEW. The seller is a project company of the Frankfurt-based developer Mercurius Industrial Properties GmbH.

The newly constructed, Class A urban logistics property, which has a floor area of around 11,000 m², has been let for 15 years to a blue-chip tenant specialising in intralogistics solutions. Adjacent to the new building is an existing warehouse covering an area of around 3,000 m² which is leased to a German logistics service provider. The entire site offers potential for further development and value appreciation.

CDC Investissement Immobilier is the property management company of the French financial institution Caisse des Dépôts. Its portfolio comprises properties worth more than €10.6 billion.
