Noerr becomes first corporate cooperation partner of Berliner Philharmoniker Circle
Noerr has become the first corporate member from the business community to be admitted to the exclusive Berliner Philharmoniker Circle, an international patrons’ programme for major supporters of the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra. This step underlines Noerr’s clear commitment to excellence in practice and cultural responsibility.
The new partnership brings together two brands that stand for the highest standards of quality and international reach in their respective worlds. Noerr advises on all areas of business and commercial law and combines top-tier legal advice with a clear cross-border focus. That same approach is reflected in the firm’s commitment to the Berliner Philharmoniker Circle, which unites private and corporate supporters from different countries and reaches out to international backers through formats such as the American Circle (a wing of the Berliner Philharmoniker Circle for supporters from the United States).
“The Berlin Philharmonic stands like no other orchestra in the world for artistic excellence, international appeal and the courage to break new ground again and again”, says Alexander Ritvay, co-managing partner at Noerr. “This aspiration aligns in a very special way with how we see ourselves as an internationally focused law firm.”
“With Noerr, we are gaining a partner that shares our commitment to excellence and an international outlook,” emphasises Andrea Zietzschmann, general manager of the Berliner Philharmoniker. “The Circle thrives on crossing boundaries and opening up new perspectives – from ambitious productions and concerts in exceptional venues to projects in music education. Together with Noerr, we want to strengthen these initiatives even further.”
Membership in the Berliner Philharmoniker Circle creates an exclusive framework for engagement between Noerr and the Berlin Philharmonic’s musicians, linking the firm’s cultural commitment with enhanced access to the orchestra’s artistic activities.
“As a law firm, we are convinced that excellence does not stop at the boundaries of industries or disciplines”, explains Torsten Fett, co-managing partner of Noerr. “The interaction with an institution such as the Berlin Philharmonic also inspires our daily work: international perspective, precision, passion and team spirit – these are the qualities our lawyers share with the orchestra’s musicians.”
Through its membership in the Berliner Philharmoniker Circle, Noerr underscores its long-term commitment to social engagement and extends this focus in a targeted way to cultural sponsorship. The firm plans to further develop the collaboration over the coming years.
