Katrin Andrä advises primarily on M&A transactions, joint ventures, reorganisations and general corporate law. She has long standing expertise in advising companies in the regulated industries, e.g. energy (including renewables), infrastructure and public sector enterprises.

- Howden (portfolio company of KPS): Advising on the acquisition of Balcke-Dürr Rothemühle (2020/2021)
- Federal Government (Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy): Advising on the draft coal phase-out law and negotiations with the energy supply companies on phasing out lignite-based electricity generation (2020/2021)
- Kapsch TrafficCom & eventim: Advising on litigation regarding the settlement of the infrastructure levy project (2019/2020)
- Swisspower Renewables GmbH: Structuring of new wind parks/repowering (2019/2020)
- Veolia: Advising on the sale of 25.1% in the municipal utility company BS|ENERGY to Thüga by way of a tender process (2018/2020)
- Zimmer GmbH: Advising on restructuring and general corporate law (ongoing)
- Gegenbauer: Advising on the combination of its Facility Management Services, on various M&A deals and general corporate law (2019/2020/2021)
- German Government (Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy): Advising in connection with the legislative package on the reorganisation of the financing of nuclear waste disposal, setting up a state fund and the necessary negotiations with the energy companies on the conclusion of a public law agreement (2016-2017)
