Thomas Klindt

Thomas Klindt has extensive experience in handling product liability crisis scenarios; he represents companies in product liability litigation and has overseen numerous cross-border product recalls, including the necessary communication with regulatory authorities. He is Co-Head of the Product Liability & Product Compliance team and also lectures in European Product and Technology Law at Bayreuth University. Another key area of focus is the security and defence industry: Thomas Klindt serves as Head of Defence & Security, represents Noerr as a member firm of the BDSV e.V. and chairs our firm’s annual Legal Summit Defence & Security. He also heads the Litigation PR/Crisis Communication practice at Noerr. Prof. Dr Klindt is co-editor of the *Zeitschrift für Product Compliance* (ZfPC), co-editor of the *Zeitschrift Rüstung, Sicherheit & Recht* (RüSiR), co-editor of the *European Defence & Security Law & Policy Quarterly* (EDSeQ) and a member of the editorial board of the *Zeitschrift zum Innovations- und Technikrecht* (InTeR) Compliance Thomas Klindt is (together with Ingo Theusinger) co-chairman of the annual Compliance Day. In 2008, he was named European Legal Innovator of the Year at the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Awards 2008, as the jury stated, because he “…has helped to change attitudes towards compliance in Germany…”.
