Lea Stegemann

Lea Stegemann defends companies against private enforcement of European law, such as antitrust law or data protection law. She represents companies in court proceedings against individual claims and class actions brought by associations and private legal service providers. Her doctoral thesis focussed on the interpretation and enforcement of new European regulations in the digital sector (in particular non-material claims for damages in data protection law). She continues to research and publish on this topic and is a lecturer in civil procedure law at the Business & Law School Berlin.
